Below is a selection of solid fuel rocket kits made in the USA by Estes. There are different sizes and Skill levels in the rocket range. Due to UK legislation, rocket
motors must only be purchased by those
aged 18 or over. Adult supervision is required for the under 18’s. For outdoor use only.
Do not fly model rockets within 9 kms from the centre of an airport. It is strongly recommended that for beginners it is best to start with a
Starter Set as these contain full launch pad equipment.
Starter Sets.
Tidal Wave, Ionizer & Code Red are all ready to Fly Starter Sets. All rockets are 45.7 cm tall,
3.4 cm diameter, weight 75g, fly up to 183m and have a parachute recovery system.
An A8-3 motor is recommended for
the first flight. After that a B4-4 motor can be used.

Snap Shot Is also a ready to Fly Starter Set. . It is fitted with a built in 110 size 200 ASA film camera. The booster rocket powers it to maximum
altitude before automatically taking a
picture on the way back to earth. The rocket is 46 cm tall, 3.4 cm diameter, weight 86g, fly up to 151m and has a parachute recovery system. A C6-7
motor is required.
